NylonPower is a strong specially treated nylon with double the tensile strength of conventional nylon. It stretches only about 3 – 4% under tension and will return to its original length when released. This allows knots to be placed very firmly and permanently. Apart from the firm characteristics of this thread, NylonPower also possesses a smooth surface and an unsurpassed colour brilliance.

Silk and nylon threads may break if the maximum tension is exceeded during knotting. High Performance thread is almost unbreakable - even threads with the smallest diameters. Its tensile strength is unbelievable: In fact even the thread with the smallest diameter cannot be torn apart by hand. These fibres are 15 times stronger than steel, which makes them the strongest fibres in the world. The result is absolute security for your jewellery.

High Performance is only available in white and 6 different thread sizes. Each card contains two metres of thread with one or two stainless steel needles attached.

As this high-tech solution is extremely robust and incredibly tear-proof, we would especially recommend High Performance for pearls, beads and stones with small drilled holes.

A very fine, flexible and tightly intertwined wire spiral giving a professional finish to pearl necklace ends. French Wire protects against abrasions on the metal parts of the lock. It is made of silver-plated or gold-plated copper wire. French Wire is available in three diameter sizes.

Crimp beads attach pearls and stones firmly to jewellery wire or thread without the need for glue. They are barrel finished and polished with a totally smooth surface and bead hole. Crimp beads are either pressed together lightly with a pair of pliers or added loosely as spacers. Crimp Beads are available in 925 sterling silver or 24K gold plated. 

The smaller balls have an outer diameter of 1.8mm and an inner diameter of 0.8mm. This size is suitable for 0.35mm wire. Small crimp beads are also available in gold. The larger beads have an outer diameter of 2.5mm with an inner diameter of 1.2mm, and are suitable for use with 45mm wire. They are sold in packs of 100.
